"Very interesting place. If you like treasure hunts this is your place! They bring out giant bins of stuff and you just search through it. There's some really good stuff and some other stuff that you just shake your head at. You buy stuff by the pound. Books are currently 59cents a lb and clothes and small items are $1.09/lb. Its kinda grimy tho, so gloves are a good idea. We didn't know about the gloves and wished we had them. Most of the items are clean, but you know some people will wear something, then donate it dirty. Anywho, if you don't mind d digging and up for some treasure hunting on a budget this is a great place to check out."
"At $1.29/lb there are some great buys here. The only negative is that everything is in bins. We knew this going in so we brought latex gloves, not a bad trade off for the value of the items we got. It's just a shame that some people open boxes (A Scrabble game), thus losing all of the pieces. It was a good way to blow off an hour and get some really nice stuff to resell. Found some curtains that will make great upholstery for my vintage and antique furniture refurbishing."
"Ugh - Saturday thrift store shopping didn't meet expectations at all. I absolutely love the Berry Hill Goodwill Outlet (which I refer to as "The Cult Goodwill" because of what happens when new merchandise is brought out. If you don't know what I mean you have to go check it out.) as well as the retail store so I was excited to learn about the new Goodwill Outlet at Cockrill Bend which opened some time last year (I know, right? Who knew???) So my fiance and I went there yesterday for the first time. First of all, don't try to find it without a great navigation app because it's located in an obscure part of an industrial park off of Briley Parkway out towards west Nashville. The building is really nice and clean and the bathroom was spotless. They also had plenty of shopping carts unlike The Cult Goodwill. But I was immediately disappointed to find 90% of the digging bins were clothing. It's no fun for me at least to spend 6 or 7 hours digging through fabric. It all starts to look the same after a while. I might have just gone on a bad day so I'll try it out again in a few weeks and report back."
"A Hidden Gem in Nashville! My wife and I absolutely love the Goodwill Outlet in Nashville! Every visit feels like a treasure hunt — you never know what amazing finds you’ll walk away with. From clothes and books to all kinds of unique items, there’s always something that catches our eye. The prices are unbeatable, and it’s a great place to stock up on quality pieces without breaking the bank. We've found everything from gently used name-brand clothing to great reads and quirky home items. It’s fun, affordable, and surprisingly addictive! If you enjoy thrifting or love the thrill of discovery, this place is a must."
