"This location gets mixed results. No shopping bags or electrical outlets for testing. On the weekends, bins are all rotated about hourly. Digging can get hectic after each rotation. Bring your own bag for shopping as carts get used up early. Bring gloves and your patience. Sometimes find good things to flip."
"Shallow bins filled with very miscellaneous thrift/resale items. Except for a few large specially priced, everything is weighed in a scale at checkout (in the cart if you are using one). Price as of 04Sep2023 was $1.79 per pound. Employees were all great, some other shoppers were a bit aggressive. Definitely reccomend wearing sturdy work gloves. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with soap which was great for washing hands after shopping."
"Everyone in their mother's uncle's nephew's great grand-niece was there on a Sunday evening 'round 5pm. The place is huge. A lot of bins with clothes (mostly) but also some furniture and misc garage stuff. There were basically no dishes or kitchenware items. They charge $1.79/lb for stuff, unless an item is over 15 lbs then it might be priced differently. I couldn't find very good quality clothes, but that may vary day-to-day. People in there move + dig FAST like they're racing to grab the good stuff... honestly just take your time and hope you find something good. I'd prefer to just go to a regular Goodwill."
"All the fun and excitement of dumpster diving, but with a timer and competition involved! If this game show of a store sounds like your idea of a good time, then you'll fit right in with the madness. Blue bins of as-is cast-off items from other Goodwills are carted in on the hour, and all shoppers are forced to the side walls while the bins are swapped out, and then, like dogs at the starting mark, people will swarm the floor at the given signal and rabidly sift through the items, some of which may be the perfect find, or might be broken garbage. Gloves and hand sanitizer come highly recommended for sorting through everything, which may or may not be infested with God-knows-what. Everything is sold by the pound, which is fantastic for thrifty, eagle-eyed shoppers looking to cheaply outfit their home or flip on an internet market for a quick few bucks. Recommended spot if you enjoy shopping and/or consumerism spectacle."

"Two stars might be too generous actually. There was so much wrong with this particular bins location. I’ve been to 4 different locations so far in 3 different states and this was by far the worst experience. When we first walked in, they were in the middle of a bins rotation where everyone had to stand along the edge of the walls and all bins were off limits while they rotated a few. This doesn’t necessarily bother me. The issue was we had no clue this was happening as we walked in and no one told us as we walked in. I noticed what was happening as I started walking to the other side. My husband and teens followed me. As we we were walking to the wall, my husband who hadn’t really understood what was going on walked a little too far into the area where they had removed bins to bring more in and one of the workers yelled at him. There were several workers near the front door as we walked in. It wouldn’t have hurt for one to be responsible to tell people walking in during a rotation what is happening and what to do. Other bins I’ve been to only close down the section they are rotating. It’s insane to close the entire store for 20 minutes every hour just to change a few bins. I spent a lot of time talking about this but it was really the least of the issues. The main problems is the horrible organization and unprofessional manager with an attitude. The half of the floor that is not clothes, has big heavy items thrown on top of almost every bin. There is no way to really dig beneath to see anything underneath. And by big items I’m referring to large mirrors, furniture, even saw a lawn equipment item the size of a push mower. They have big open areas where they put individually priced large items so putting all these on top the bins is just laziness. And when I went to the register to inquire about a piece of small furniture that was in the bins, the cashier told me it was going to be really heavy and not worth the price by weight. Lady, most the stuff in the bins is stuff like this. Do you guys not want to sell it? So I asked if a manager could give me a lower price because it rung up to $27 by weight. She acted like it would be an inconvenience to ask a manager. She also mentioned he was mean. I got the feeling she was trying to avoid bothering him, probably afraid of him yelling at her for bothering him. When he came over, he acted very rude and like we’d just inconvenienced him. He did give me a price of $11.99. I did take it but felt it was still a bit high considering bigger nicer items aren’t much more than that in their furniture section. Another item I didn’t take because it wasn’t worth the price quoted. Also, the people in line ahead of us had a table they were trying to buy. The cashier kept yelling “bottom bottom” at them. They didn’t understand what she meant so they kept looking at the bottom of the table. Finally she really rudely told them no the bottom of price tag needs ripped off. There is just no excuse for this location to be this rude. I imagine it all stems from poor management. The workers are rude, stressed, and have attitudes because their boss is running the place that way. They need new management for sure. Not just to foster better attitudes but also to change how they organize the bins themselves. Most bins put large items that aren’t priced individually into a few dedicated bins so people can dig through the small bins items. They also usually have a flat cap for anything weighing over so many pounds. Usually this cap is around $3 to $5. We will not be back to this location."
"This place is a mad house, but it is exactly what you think. It’s fun to dig through stuff. It is very hot. It is very packed. People dive toward the shoe bins. It is very hectic. The rotate bins regularly but it takes forever. I’m pretty sure there are bugs there because I always feel so itchy."
"Going here was a complete experience. When I left my little thrifting heart was full and exhausted. Honestly, I think I blacked out as soon as I walked in from excitement. I found so many great finds and in good shape too! Next time I will BRING GLOVES! The donated items are piled in bins and you must sort through them at a fast paced rate as the bins get rotated every hour. It’s honestly so much fun though. I looked for 30 minutes for the other shoe to make a pair for one I found and miraculously found it. What a rush! Lol But man, the customers though.. It was my first time here so I asked a couple of people that were clearly experienced questions and on multiple occasions got stared at and ignored. I was bumped into and people were very pushy. That’s really the only complaint I have. It was worth it for the amazing cart full of items I purchased. The function of the store and the employees were great!"
"Manager lady was very rude and said I had to pay per item not by the pound for some booklets I was getting. I asked where in the store this was stated. Employees couldn't show where it was posted. Cashier didn't know anything about paying set price per booklet. I pulled them out of the bins and it was my understanding based on the info posted, that it was pay by the pound there. There was someone ahead of me that bought the same items and they charged him by the pound."

"Unfortunately my opinion of this place has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY since they opened. This has hurt my rating for the store. Everyone please do their part to make Goodwill Outlet great again! Many of these things can be easily changed on the corporate level. I have often spoken to cashiers and given time for things to improve, but they have not so it's time for an honest review. THE ROTATION - F Rotation is everything at the Goodwill Outlet. The store is laid out so bins can quickly be changed out. During rotation, the isles are cleared and new bins cannot be touched until all bins are in place and the manager gives the word. They often skip rotations or only change out few bins. Show up near the end of the hour so you know how rotation is panning out that shift. Fast rotations rarely happen. People fail to follow directions. They will lag, continuing to shopping in the bins. Then they'll take their time getting to the wall or walk across the entire store while the majority wait. THE LAYOUT - A+ The store is divided into sections. Clothes and shoes are in bins along the inside bins. Furniture is in the front corner. General merchandise is along the back wall. PRICING - B The pricing is simple. With the exception of individually priced items, everything is 1.69 per pound. Each register is equipped with a cart scale and a counter scale. Checkout is a painless process. Since everything is priced by the pound light items are extremely cheap and heavy items have runaway pricing. Ask for a discount on heavy items. THE MERCHANDISE - D When the store opened it was great! Treasure finds were plentiful. These days they're over-picked in the back. They've changed their focus so they can send more to their private auction site. This has been a problem for many years in their retail store. They're neglecting to service the local shopper looking for a bargain. It's often crowded enough you can't get anything. I stopped going on the weekends because I rarely found anything. The store is advertised as as a liquidation center for items that don't sell within six weeks in their regular retail locations. This is not true. Most items have no price sticker on them, which tells me that they were never offered for sale in a retail store (Goodwill is a stickler for pricing everything). Most items are dirty and in very poor condition. I've had items removed from my cart and refused sale. One time it was the only thing I'd found. Wasted trip. They focus on safety during bin rotation but you'll often find broken glass, sharp knives, and more sharps right after rotation. GOOD CUSTOMERS - A+ There are some really great regular shoppers. I know many of them by name and talk to them whenever I go in. I see them around town and they ask me how I am. They're great! BAD CUSTOMERS - F----- Goodwill Outlet attracts some of the worst customers in the area. I've seen customers INTENTIONALLY break items. Just smash them. They open boxed games just to dump them out. They fling things to watch them scatter and laugh. They'll examine something, decide they don't want it, break it, dump it out, scatter it, preventing someone else who might want it to lose interest. THE TAKEAWAY: You can still often find overlooked treasures. Bring gloves and wash your hands before you leave. Expect a lot of things to be broken in some way. Be patient. Be courteous. Ask for a discount on very heavy items. Be prepared to be disappointed on the weekend."
"This is an enlightening experience. After you get over the initial shock of how unique the set up is, it's quite fun. Just don't go in thinking you will easily find a set of anything. You might with some digging. Absolutely worth an afternoon digging for buried treasure! The store overall is clean, bathroom is clean. Parking lot is open and accessible. Including handicapped parking. I saw a complaint about employees there but I have not had the same experience. They might be perceived as mean because they enforce their rule of staying behind the marked lines when they move the bins around but that is a safety thing. They are moving good sized bins on wheels all around and it just wouldn't be safe with customers in the way."
"Goodwill outlit is a really weird and crazy place. If you have never gone don't expect it to be some fabulous spic-n-span establishment and don't expect everyone there to be an angel. The bins will be a little dirty and things can be broken and there will be a lot of people digging through the bins. For some people this is a sport, looking for all the goodies that were missed. Personally I really enjoy it, it's fun to dig through everything to see what you can find. I have found everything from a vintage koala made out of kangaroo fur to a bottle of heavy whipping cream. Again it's just a carzy place and cray people go to it butI always have a blast there."
"just remember you're buying clothes and various knick knacks by the pound. so temper your expectations. but it's a fun treasure hunt. vintage to like new items can be found if you stick around enough."

"I used to enjoy shopping at the Goodwill Outlet, but lately, the experience has gone downhill. It’s frustrating to see groups of teenagers camping out in the store, sitting in a corner with their phones plugged in, just waiting for new bins to hit the floor. The moment fresh items come out, they rush in and grab everything as fast as possible, clearly with the intent to resell online for profit. This takes away from the whole point of thrift shopping—finding unique, affordable items for yourself or your family. Instead, it feels like a race against resellers who have no interest in anything except flipping stuff for money. It’s disappointing to see Goodwill allowing this to happen, making it harder for regular shoppers to find anything worthwhile. I hope management takes steps to address this issue, whether it’s limiting how long people can linger without shopping or enforcing fairer access to new items. Until then, the experience just isn’t what it used to be."
"Moved away to Tennessee 12 years ago and moved back to Evansville someyears ago. I had remembered this goodwill was a well stocked store with good prices and everything was mostly neately shelved and categorized and priced like i remembered goodwill stores are supposed to be. My Grandson came to visit with me last week and we decided to go shopping goodwill stores near me. We walked into this outlet and I was totally horrified! Dirty clothes, broken scattered items, crockery. Things strewn about in huge bins like hog feeding stations. Im so disheartened and disappointed in the way this store is furbished and organized. Besides seeing the outragous way you pay to dump your purcases in a bin to pay by the pound! If this is the future of the goodwills of today, i will now find better places to donate my gently used items and find other thrift outlets that appreciate their customers to purchase from. This was a terrible experience and nearly broke my heart. I remembered this goodwill as a really nice place and now it's like a dump pit for making money off of totally free items people donated from the goodness of their hearts for charity."
"I used to come here to find good deals on house goods, and clothing. Now it’s just “pods” heed with clothes and other junk. I’m not wasting my time digging through someone else’s trash. I’ll go to the other Goodwill instead that still has normal clothing racks and prices on their items."
"I've been a supporter and frequenter of Goodwill stores for 20 plus years , I don't know if there's been new managemant or the bottom line on their quarterly bonus is the most important thing or what . It seems like in the last year , the only way I know how to put it is , ' The stores's have gone to hell ! It looks like someone issued a memo " nothing hits the dumpster !" Smack a $ 3.95 sticker on everything ! It looks like a bomb went off in the trashiest rummage sale in the trashiest trailer park in town and landed in Goodwill ! I've been to the new store twice and I won't be back ..you are higher than WaMart on what is basically junk ! I wouldn't give you $ 10.00 for everything in your new store . You don't even have signs' for " Mens' , Womens" , everything is scattered and disorganized .You have ruined the Goodwill experience .. So long !"

"I go every week. It's an outlet type GW. Meaning it's only sorted into clothes, footwear, large furniture, books, and finally everything stuff. Items are inside of massive blue bins that you have to literally rummage thru. The bins are periodically rotated with different ones from the back. I love shopping in this manner because it's possible to find great stuff just by searching a little better than a previous shopper. Some people do wear gloves since stuff can be spilled or broken in the bins, so be careful and pay attention. Also most items are SOLD BY THE POUND. Except for large furniture and books, everything is $1.49 per lb. No prices on stuff. They just weigh your full cart with in ground scales and tell you a price. Staff is friendly and tons of parking. And when they say they close at 7, they close at 7! (5pm on sundays)"
""Bin" to 50+ of these GW outlets. Staying nearby recently. While this is probably THE BEST of nearly all of them. These bins should require customers to take a CLASS ON MANNERS before entry. Basically 1/2 of the customers are comparable to disgusting pigs with their uncomfortable reaching into your personal space. What's worse is they feel ENTITLED to do so. Not only taking your space, but the item you put in the hard work to dig for. When you even politely CORRECT them on their foul behavior, they glitch, like you broke their programming. And in 2020s fashion, do a quick about face to feel as if they are the victim. I'm still working on ways to best stand up for myself. Others should too. It's a problem at most of these type of stores, not unique to this one. It's really twisted how those types are almost all THE SAME everywhere. A fringe stereotype. They have no shame. It must be dreamy to be entitled, not the least bit self-aware, and free of any accountability of their behavior! Some might liken that behavior to animals. Hard to argue that comparison. But Hey....... There is good stuff to be found here of all varieties, book, clothes, toys, vintage - not too much electronics. Staff changes tables at a brisk pace. 3/4 of the cashiers are great. It's draining to be there though."
"I recently visited the Goodwill Outlet and was impressed by how large and open the space was. The warehouse-style layout gives you plenty of room to move around, even when there are a lot of shoppers. The main attraction here is the rows of large bins where items are placed in bulk and shoppers can sift through to find hidden gems. It’s definitely a different experience from a traditional retail Goodwill store and feels more like a treasure hunt. While I did not get a chance to really dig through the bins during my visit, it was clear that the majority of the items available that day were clothing. Since I wasn’t specifically shopping for apparel, I decided to skip the sifting this time. That said, for anyone who enjoys thrifting, reselling, or hunting for unique pieces at very low prices, this outlet could be worth the time and effort. Overall, the Goodwill Outlet offers a spacious environment and a unique, hands-on shopping experience. It may not be for everyone, especially if you are not short on time or not interested in clothing, but for patient shoppers who enjoy searching through bins, it has strong potential for great finds at bargain prices."
"The employees are exceptional here! Great customer service! Downside is the people shopping acting like savages once the bins are rotated! Some people apparently come regularly and act like animals fighting over stuff, not respecting personal space, greedy people! Have some respect for others as well! It’s not fair that some hog everything and don’t allow everyone to get a chance to find stuff because it’s the same people that stay there for hours waiting for the bins to rotate to take up space around the bins and savage through them 🙄… PLEASE ROTATE ALL BINS AT THE SAME TIME TO ALLOW EVERYONE TO GET A CHANCE TO FIND STUFF! When you guys rotate one aisle at a time it only allows the same people hogging the space and taking up the best items!"

"As far as the outlet stores go this is one of the cleaner buildings. The inventory like all outlets is heavily rotated but seems more shoe and clothing inclined on average. The staff aren't as angry at the world as the rude employees at other outlets around the city tend to act if you need help. If you've never been to an outlet the way things work may surprise you. Don't expect the typical layout of aisles of shelving filled with hard goods and racks of clothing to select from. Instead youll find perfectly aligned rows of picnic table sized rolling shallow walled bins. The only seperation comes in bins of shoes, bins of books, and bins with things made of fabrics i.e. clothing towels bedding and such. The rest of the bins will be an assortment of anything and everything from angel figurines to zoology encyclopedias. im always surprised by at least one item that you never would have expected. There's lots of things just dumped into each bin so bring gloves so the random broken or sharp edge doesnt turn your hunt for a goodie into a search for a bandaid. The pricing like all outlets is one set price per pound. With the exception of large items like couches riding mowers weight benches etc. which are in a section of their own and individually priced. The pic ive added is one of those wow finds my mom ordered the same picture and payed over $100 before shipping so i had to rub it in a little that i found it for only a few dollars. Happy hunting"
"Been to nearly 40 bin stores. Rates on the lower tier. However it was cleaner than most, better manners than most. However, You can tell the best stuff has already been pre-sorted when compared to other locations in the country that leave us some treasures. Its very big, and they even change the tables regularly, but its seriously junk. There's enough space to browse away from the desperate herds."
"Why so many people whining about how unorganized and "dirty" it is?! That's the business model!! Its unorganized by design. If they took all this time to organize everything then realistically they would also have to raise the prices. As of now its low overhead cost to run a store like this especially when the only responsibility your employees have is to bring out bins every hour and lightly sift through the items in the back to make sure nothing crazy or unsafe is in the bins to hurt people. If you're a shy person or have a hard time standing up for yourself, dont go. You won't like it. Now, if you've got a heart made for adventure and aren't afraid to say something to someone who just took advantage of you or did you wrong, then by all means go for it. You'll love it. It's a good time and there are some killer deals on furniture and clothes. Some of the clothes being brand new with tags still on them. Also, its probably "dirty" because the items that get donated are from other POOR people and most poor people DO NOT obsess about cleanliness. Especially when they're about to go drop the stuff of somewhere for people to rummage through."
"Great prices, decent quality, and the outlet store behind this store has huge bins of products you can purchase for under $2 per pound (but you have to dig to find the bargains). I got a pair of nice sleep pants and HDMI cable at the main store and a knit jacket and shorts at the outlet store and paid under $7 for all of that. If you don't mind spending the time, you are sure to find a bargain here."
