"I really loved digging through the bins. I found many many great items. I did have quite a few things. So when it came to checking out, problems. I was trying to help out and hold things and get them so they could be weighed. The customer service employee was very rude and short. He obviously didn't like his job very much. His name is JJ. I've worked in customer service all my life. Never have I ever treated customers the way I was treated. We will be there again. Hope customer service will be much better. See you soon with a smile on my face."

Martha

"I had a lot of fun at this store. You have to go in having time to spend, because all of the items are dumped onto big tables, and you have to pick through them. They weigh your goods and charge you by the pound. So I got a huge bag of shirts and dresses for the same price as my sister paid for a few pairs of jeans, because the jeans ended up being a lot heavier. I did end up finding quite a few higher-end pieces by digging through the bins. I was really happy with what I ended up with. Also, I did not see a fitting room so I did my best to just try stuff on over what I was wearing, and for the most part that worked out."

Sue

"Prices have gotten too high. Clothing isn't much more in price and it's new at Walmart. Items are not guaranteed. The workers are always great, polite and helpful."

Toni Crane

"This store is really not all that great. The clothes are on tables all scattered. No sizes on tables that I seen. I am not going to waste my time digging. So to me it's not too customer friendly. You make a store customer friendly and you can bring in more customers."

"horrible. was excited after everything I’ve seen online, and I went to a Salvation Army bin store but wanted to try the real thing here. hour and a half drive to be met with a SUPER stinky store, (as someone who cannot smell or distinguish scents at all), witnessed an employee being super rude to someone trying to leave the store because the employee was in the middle of washing one of the glass panes, and the bins were super empty. A customer there said that they always come out half full and people just pick through the shoes. Not worth the trip unless you live close by, otherwise drive to a better one further away, or the Salvation Army bins in Clinton township."

Alexandra Klug

"Amazing experience! A few pro tips: 1. Be prepared to spend the day or a big chunk of times. New bins are rotated slowly so come knowing if you want to find treasures you have to stick around. 2. Bring gloves! The bins are random and there’s a good chance that there’s sharp stuff inside. 3. If you want clothes - wear something you can try on over. 4. If a bin is covered - don’t touch it! Wait until the sheet is removed otherwise you will get yelled at. Stand in the circle around the bin and when the sheet is removed it’s fair game!"

Allison Kress

"I love this store! I try and stop whenever I’m in town. Wear gardening gloves and get ready to rummage through treasures. I always find vintage trinkets and the bins are FULL of amazing toys — Little People, Imaginext, Barbie, etc. Would recommend!"

Mick S

"I love Goodwill outlets! These are hidden gems that I live for!!! I love rummaging through the bins and have found many name brand items, some new with tags. I recommend going with gloves and an open schedule because you could be here for hours."

"Love the thrill and the treasure hunt but I've come to see its the same people there day in and day out. They are the ones who are rude and continually break the rules. They are aggressive, and slyly go through the new bins when the employees aren't looking. I don't plan to return since since this is not monitored and everyone deserves an equal chance."

Lita Sandy

"I was surprised to find that, as a bin store, bins seemed to be limited. MANY people were hanging around for the next roll-out. I was impressed by a young man who emerged (prior to my entering) with a couple of large (bit damaged) snowman blow-molds. He was happy and should have been. I wasn't there for long - just checking it out; found out that they are open from 8AM to 8PM, Monday through Saturday. Also realized that within the Grand Rapids district, MOST (not all) of what comes out in the bins in this Grandville location (years ago, it had an annual doll / toy sale - dedicated volunteers - GREAT stuff) is LEFTOVER merch from all of the district stores, that didn't sell. NOT an incentive for me to crawl over dozens of pickers who are looking for the grail. Doubt I'll be back unless the district makes this worthwhile. When I was there, I had two items in my parked cart. When I went to get said cart, I couldn't help but notice a few, quite territorial young women standing next to it, monitoring retrieval of the cart. I wasn't there long at all. I ended up getting a couple of plush items for a small price. I'm not going to participate in a rush for items that were already on the shelf, in all of the district stores, to make a buck. Good luck to the rest of you who do the dance. :/"

"I was told the local Bin store twice. First was a blast, asked questions and had no problems..Spent 55$ Second i caught scabies, even with gloves on and still had a good time Spent 65$..Then Dr.co pay, then prescription for Cream and two different Allergy pills and Steroid 85$ Very disappointing to also drive 50 minutes from home to the Bin store.. Total Bummer!! Not certain if ill try it again or just cut my loss?"

Bill Wilson

"Place seems to always be very busy and crowded. The bins never have many good items. They seem very picked over when they come out, the items are either broke, old, or very used. People picking are usually very rude and pushy. Positives are the prices are good. Clothing seems much better than other items, good clothes can be picked."
