"Drove 2 hours away to visit this "great store". Was greeted with an "I'm sorry but no kids are allowed in our store. One of you are welcome to take the kids and wait outside with them while the other looks around and shops". We had no ac in the vehicle we drove, no shaded spots in the parking lot, and 2 kids who just wanted a bike and we were going to see if we could find one there. We left absolutely disgusted. I have read negative reviews today in reguards to the age policy and not a single owner commenting back on any of them. They will reply to anything else. Tell me how bars lets children in until what? 8 9 or 10 at night but kids can't be in a goodwill bin store? In a cart not touching anything? People throw alcohol bottles all over the world and glass items break all the time outside. Kids will encounter broken glass sometime is their life probably multiple times. But you're worried about broken glass in your store? The adults are worse than the kids. Ban adults too then. Make it make sense OWNER. There is WAY worse things in a bar than your store."

"Worst place I’ve ever been to. No where online does it say no open toed shoes on there website. Drove 4 hours to go her for my Grandma’s bucket list and was told we couldn’t shop. Was told there was a sign on front door. Was threatened if we didn’t leave cops would be called and we would be escorted off property like they had done the others over the past 2 weeks. Sign said no children but there was children in there with parents when that was brought up on how they were allowed Blondish hair colored supervisor grabbed my wrist and said you need to leave Now. The concern with opened toed shoes was said to be because of glass on floors. I then said well what about your hand reaching into the bins. Was told had to use common sense when digging in bins. I said really how do you suppose that arms legs feet etc would be protected by anything other than glass proof clothing. From what I seen in short time I was there wasn’t impressed just upset that I couldn’t fulfill my grandma’s bucket list. I’ve never been around such rude frontline people ever including the short guy upfront that ran to get his supervisor. I should’ve had the cops come out to press charges for her assault as I know there not allowed to touch you."

"I had a really fun time scavenger hunting here! The facility was clean, and the employees were all super friendly! I understand the rules for no kids under 16 because there are things that get broken, and if you're digging, your kiddo could get hurt! I wore gloves so that I didn't find any glass unexpectedly. I also didn't mind wearing closed toed shoes since things can fall if 2 people are digging in the same area. There are some priced things like books are priced each (I think it was .25 cents each) which is awesome since books are heavy and if by the pound, would cost an outrageous amount! I drove a long way to get there, but if I lived closer, this would be a bi-weekly store for sure!! Pictured is the super cute, brand new purse I found there!"

"Now at $1.89/lb you really gotta watch what you get. It can add up quick. Used to be .99/lb but has since doubled. It's fun digging through the bins and the staff is usually nice, but if they keep getting greedy raising the price on stuff they got donated to them for free then I'm gonna stop going. Also they no longer have bags because they are "going green", so you gotta bring your own bags or buy a tote."

"I was pleased to hear of the opening of a Goodwill Outlet (aka “The Bins”) in the Chicagoland area. This is not your typical Goodwill experience, be prepared to dig through literal mountains of clothing to find things you like. I’m docking one star because of the parking lot. For the size of this place, the parking lot should be bigger. On a Tuesday late morning, every spot was taken and I had to park along the side of the lot. Many people seem to hang around for hours for the rotation of the bins. When they bring out new bins, people wait until they are all out before digging through the new pile of clothing. People have multiple carts filled with items. Likely many are resellers, but you can still find some quality items, some even new with tags. The items seemed to be about as clean as your average Goodwill store, but there were a lot of clothes with stains, which seemed more than average. Just make sure you inspect your items carefully and you’ll be fine. I would recommend visiting the Goodwill Outlet!"

"this is a goodwill outlet, not a regular goodwill, so adjust your expectations accordingly. the clothes are in bins and you have to dig through them. sometimes things will be dirty. most of the time they will be poor quality. and it is 80% clothes, yes. for now, the place is very clean and pretty pleasant to be in. my only major complaint is that they are putting WAY, WAY too much in each bin. it makes it impossible to thoroughly look through them, and it’s exhausting by the second or third bin. i spent 2 hours there (found nothing, by the way) and the tactic became just doing laps of the store and skimming the tops. as well as being there when new bins were put out. i’m sure i missed some decent stuff, but it was all i could do. bring your gloves, your muscles, your headphones, and block out a few hours. maybe you’ll have some luck."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Treasure Hunt for the Patient Shopper 🛒🧤 This Goodwill Outlet is actually a great spot if you know what to expect. Everything is in large bins, so you’ll need to be patient and ready to dig, it’s like a treasure hunt! Most of the items are clothes, and with a little time and effort, you can score some amazing deals. A few tips from experience: ✔️ Bring gloves (trust me) ✔️ Wash your hands after ✔️ Don’t leave any personal items on your cart ✔️ Keep your cart with you at all times, some people will not think twice about taking it or rummaging through it It can get crowded and competitive, but if you go in with the right mindset, it’s worth it. Definitely a goldmine for thrifters on a budget. 💸👕💼"

"Went opening day and was crowded. Went back a few weeks later not as crowded. But be warned be careful where you are sorting through because you could have someone a bin over just tossing things into the pile you are trying to go through. The employees are nice, the customers not do l so much. And the complaints about nothing sorted. There's a reason why the clothes are priced by the pound. You have to try and find what you are looking for. And no it's not more expensive than a regular good will. I got 3 shirts for under 2 dollars.(not 2 each but 2 all together) while the stores sell shirts for 3-5 dollars a peice"
