"Interesting place to go thrifting. You never know what you will find there. There are new with tags clothing, used clothing, glassware, vintage glass and dishes, bedding and more. You pay by the pound. Bring gloves and be ready to dig into the bins. It can be overwhelming when shopping but it can also be fun. There are regulars there who know the rules and know when bins are rotated in and out. Staff are pleasant, especially when people follow the rules. Customers can be interesting as well. Usually people are polite however be prepared for people who don’t think the rules apply to them. Overall, this location and be fun to dig and shop at and if you find things you like, cheap to buy."
"People leaving reviews saying this place is horrible don’t understand that it’s the goodwill bins. You should not expect a normal goodwill store or the comparison of a target. There are a few bins out there that are organized and “clean” but that’s rare to find. The goodwill bins offer an awesome opportunity to find great find for super cheap. The reason it is so cheap is because it’s not organized or CLEAN. I recommend to always wear gloves and wash your hands after. But I have never had a bad experience with the clothes/items here or the employees. If you are kind to other people there, including the workers, they are kind back. I recommend this place to anyone who loves a good thrift (that isn’t super expensive)."
"Clearly store staff favor the regulars and their favorite resellers because so many of them stand around with their carts, just talking and blocking bins while waiting for the next rotation, and are never reprimanded. There are other people there trying to shop those exact bins you are blocking. And to the worker who "politely", yet rudely told me to wait my turn for the new bins as I didn't "wait" in the proper lineup (I was still shopping bins a few aisles down) and because I didn't want to be run over by other shoppers, can you tell me where it says we have to wait in line to shop the new bins? I didn't even come to the new bins immediately, it was after a few minutes already when the others already rummaged through them. I feel like she just wanted to be superior in her position and tell others what to do. I hardly come due to the rude treatment of staff and other shoppers. Whatever store rules that are currently in place, it needs to be re-evaluated."
"I love digging through and finding good deals. Unfortunately, the staff is very rude. I have two well-behaved teenagers that shop with me regularly. Today, one was told that he needed to be next to a parent at all times (I can understand if he was a young child that was running around or getting in the way or being problematic...he was just quietly looking in the bins.) Then, when he strayed away from his dad to look in the next bin over, they made a condescending announcement about kids having to be at the same bin as their parents. We have shopped there dozens of times with our teens, and it has never been an issue. They are well-behaved and responsible- they aren't bothering anybody. It's silly that Goodwill outlet keeps coming up with new rules every other week regarding children. Especially since some of the grown adults shopping there are super aggressive and problematic. I would love to know the reasoning for this, because it doesn't make any sense."

"Super clean and spacious in their brand new warehouse. I’ve been a bin shopper at the dig n save for years, and although the prices are higher on some items, you get better quality clothes here. Just peep the resellers watching for new bins with their carts along the wall. Bonus that they have a shoe section! Very well organized. You’re sure to spend a good hour or 5 here."
"I don’t get the bad reviews. I think they didn’t get the concept. This is a by the pound goodwill. You dig through it, you get mega bargains. I love it and am grateful Madison finally got one. It’s clean, nice bathrooms, nice staff. The bins can be dirty so wear gloves. Fill up your cart to pay even less."
"The bin experience itself is really fun for thrifters to dig through for hidden treasures, and there’s some great stuff including items new with tags. This location is all the more fun because staff are friendly, regular resellers are kind and look out for each other, and the facility itself is well-kept and clean including the bathrooms which are always in a good condition. It can be a bit overwhelming for your first visit, but staff are kind and can explain the rules and how things flow, so just ask."
"Not really a good outlet compared to Racine and Milwaukee they need to fill the bins up more they are so slow at rotating like 45mins to a hour while others do it in 20 mins they take 6-7 mins to even fill the row and take out the bins. Workers always yelling at people to not go over the line but most of the time the person hasn’t been here so they don’t know and when a regular does it they don’t yell at them but when a person who never went does and get confused very bad location there more to talk about like how they have people doing nothing in the back and not putting out new bins they would be the best in Wisconsin if they just fixed these issues more stuff in bins faster rows and actually kicking people out and banning them for not following the rules"

"If you’re looking for a shopping adventure, the Goodwill Outlet is where it’s at! Watching the energy as the bins are rolled out is something else – it’s like a modern-day gold rush. The younger crowd swarms in with excitement, ready to dive for hidden gems. It’s chaotic in the best way, but there’s a method to the madness. I’ve found incredible deals and unique items you won’t see anywhere else. The thrill of the hunt keeps me coming back. Plus, the staff keeps everything moving smoothly, even with all the action. Pro tip: come ready to dig, and you might just leave with treasures you didn’t know you wanted."
"Great finds - amazing price point. Honestly the staff is always around and helpful. You dig through bins to find stuff. It’s organized by mixed sizes clothes - books / movies - hardlines which is like toys, household goods etc."
"Rows and rows of bins and bins of stuff!! I saw lots of people wearing gloves sifting through the items in the bins. They don’t come here unprepared! Pricing is by weight. Feels like a treasure hunt. They do NOT take donations at this location."
"I contemplated writing this review for awhile but as someone who loves thrifting, especially at the bins, my experiences lately have been less than pleasing with all the guys who crowd the new bins. I get what they’re doing trying to hog all the vintage finds, but there needs to be better regulation on this because they crowd everyone else out. Nobody should be allowed to stand/guard bins, period - can someone please do something about this??"

"Update 4/3/19 With the hopes of the store "getting more organized" not even close. Recently went to the outlet a few days ago, probably stayed a good hour and a half and they kept rotating bins every 15mins....while I was there; they rotated bins 5 times. They got rid of the section with glass cup/dishes, electronic and furniture. Alot of clothes and shoe bins. I don't mind digging for a bargain but not if I have to move heavy electronic or items that are stringed around multiple items. Definitely bring gloves, alot of broken glasses, trash and untapped knifes. Also I noticed when looking through the bins and during rotation they aren't actually cleaning/rotating products, they are just putting more stuff on top of the old stuff. Makes it harder to actually go through the bins. Which sounds crazy but I honestly think so because I went there two days in a row and noticed certain items on the bottom of the bin and "newer" products on top. Yes, I understand there are multiple items that are the same but the bins I saw look no different. A lot of regular, who often get a little excited digging through bins and throw things in other bins rather your looking at the same bin or not. I don't have a problem with them but if your the type of person that is just casually looking I'd stay away until they leave that bin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I've been to this location at least 3 times and found some pretty decent deals. The only thing I hope for (in time) to be a little bit more organized. The books, shoes, DVDs, CDs, video games are already in coordinating bins and glassware are on shelves. Put men clothes together, womans clothes together, children clothes together, crafts, board games, toys, housewear, kitchen, tools, seasonal and so on. Yes I understand its and outlet but still I don't want to spending all day digging through clothes that are all mixed together. Bins rotate every 20 to 30 minutes. Bring gloves because in a few bins there was broken glass or knives."
"It’s ok. There was a woman live streaming, lots of young guys going crazy over the new bins that get put out, so the environment is not the most ideal. There are some good finds of course, just prepare to do a lot of digging and bring gloves, there is some gross clothing and items you have to sort through."
"Staff Is friendly. I see a lot of complaints about the young resellers but I have always found them to be respectful and courteous to others. They are looking for specific items and leave plenty for the rest of us. It does get a little frantic when the bins roll out especially since the one person per bin rule was lifted. My only complaint is the amount of merchandise they are currently filling the bins with. They are mounded so high that they are impossible to get through. Its way to much, intimidating and exhausting. Please reduce the amount of merchandise per cart. I typically spend at least $100 each trip and only spent $20 this trip because I only made it through 4 or 5 bins in 2 hours!!! The rest of the bins, I just skimmed the tops. WAY TO FULL AND THE CLOTHES ARE TANGLED TOO!!!"
"This location in Racine as currently gotten a lot worse with the amount of clothing pile of the searching capabilities. It was a change corporate made to pass more things through. The amount of clothing that ends up on the floor is just swept up and tossed. The other change corporate made was the pound limit. In order to get a discount you need to have over 50 lbs of clothing. As you can see from the piles, it gets so completely tall that you can't even see over to the next aisles. The clothing falls onto the floor, and the clothing falls into the shoes it makes it very difficult to even want to dig through massive amounts of clothing it's a lot to move. Because the bins are piled so completely high, it's actually difficult to move the clothing because the majority of it is pushed from one bin to another bin by everyone else digging. The other unfortunate events that occur is the dumping. Many people have found unwanted items from digging the. The dump back into bins into shoe bins, purse bins, house good bins. .etc An example people collect shoes as soon as the bins come out, searched the bins throw them in their cart decide later they don't want the shoes in MASS quantity and dump them in multiple other bins including clothing or Electronics or purses. Just remember, when you're donating to Goodwill, it's supposed to go to a good cause. The amount of clothing they are throwing away after it lands on the floor is probably not your idea of helping someone. The amount of broken items , again isn't then idea of "goodwill"."
