"This was a great experience. We arrived at 10:30A, half an hour after it opened. No shopping carts were available, so my husband followed a shopper to their car, helped the lady load a couple of chairs and came back with the cart. Furniture was very affordable, with the highest price at $6. This bin store didn't restock bins as I had seen others. They are closed from 1P to 3P, presumably to switch out the bins. We had a lot of fun and found some very nice items!"
"I enjoy going to the outlet and finding the treasure that you can sometimes come across while digging through the bins. It isn’t a normal thrift store experience, but I like the hunt. My issue isn’t so much with the store as it is with the hours and the clientele. I was in line behind 22 water bottles and bags. When I left (before the store even closed for the first half of the day) there were already 2 water bottles and one bag “waiting” in line for the 3 o’clock opening time. If you’re insisting on these awful block hours being the new normal, then can you please enforce some sort of system where a single water bottle doesn’t hold the place of an entire family while they sit in their car or get breakfast/lunch? Without rotations it’s pretty hard to find decent items after the first hour of being open (and I dig from one side of the bin to the other, it isn’t for lack of trying.)"
"It's incredible fun to go searching the bins for hidden treasures, but on the whole, it's much too expensive. The price per pound is $1.89 (with exceptions for certain categories like glass, books, etc) - which is fine for most clothing and such, but housewares/general goods (my favorite section) are mostly ruined by the price. Yes, they'll negotiate on extra-heavy items where the price clearly exceeds the item value, but the majority is stuck in the middle where I don't want to be "that guy" asking for a dollar off each item with a line behind me, so I leave the stuff for garbage. Yes, a lot of the stuff is actually trash to start, but so much goes to dumpsters here that could have been saved, were it not for so much of it falling into "I could buy it new for that much" territory."
"This is an amazing place. They sell everything per pound except for the books which are per the inch. You have to be careful for the weight though anything that weighs too much is $1.89 and it’s gonna cost more than you expected. Everybody is really nice here. I really didn’t have a problem. I would come back again whenever I get a second. They have a large blue totes that are the size of table a table and they’re about three or 4 inches deep. You have to dig through them bring gloves. There could be glass or things in there because some things are broken but some things are great. I saw somebody pull out a TV Vizio TV. That looked really nice."

"This is a very unique Goodwill I've never been to one that had this setup. Things are sold here by the pound. This is the Liquidation Center I'm assuming for all the Goodwills in eastern Kansas and Western missouri. Kind of a last chance sale place and that's why things are sold by the pound. It took me a minute to get used to this setup the bins are always changing too I think every hour so these bins move around and constantly have fresh merchandise. Read the signs in my posted pictures and explains how everything is sold bought a couple of things here by the pounds. Unique setup for Goodwill I've never been in contact with one like this nice little it's hidden in Metro Kansas City so if you don't find it on the map you're not aware of it too much. But it is a nice little store for what it is. If you willing to dig through the bins you can find yourself some bargains! Recommended highly if you have some time to rummage around the bins. You might find a really good bargain!"
"I used to LOVE going to the bins- it has went downhill since moving to Bannister. Allowing children is their biggest mistake, between it being unsafe, unclean and parents not paying attention to their kids running around…it’s ridiculous. Today a kid kept hitting a button on an electronic toy making the same sound for at least 30 minutes (I left so he’s probably still doing it). Customers are supposed to stand in line to get in but people just run and cut in front once the doors open. Carts are now allowed down the aisles and people block paths with them. Prices have gone up. Now they don’t do rotations while customers are shopping which makes the trip hardly worth it. Stuff is much more picked through now so I feel it’s safe to assume they’re keeping the good stuff to put online. One time I left my bag of stuff by the carts that were parked on the side so I could use the restroom and an employee dumped it out in the bin. Used to be 5 stars for me. Really unfortunate."
"Drove clear across the state. Online hours said open from 8am-6pm. Was told to get out once we walked in at 1pm. They close at 1pm, and reopen at 3pm. We gave up and just left with no plans to return anytime soon. Wasn’t the same fun experience when we last visited at their old location. Hopefully things change in the future, or they at least update their hours. It looked smaller and more cramp inside, but better parking. Goodwill has potential with the bin stores concept. Hoping things improve in the future."
"This place is absolutely the last place to go for anything. Everything is in troths for people to "dig" through. And is disorganized, buckets or bin can contain anuthing from broken glass to bugs. How can u know? It was absolutely the worst, there are signs that say the section your in, but guess what... mystery bin is the whole store. There where so many people, it felt like a feeding frenzy on 90s show ~ living single at the le bargin hut. I am all for deals, steals and repurposing but not from here. I dont care if it is .99 a lb. If you are brave... go for it. Obscured faces to protect the thrifty."

"This place is the place where we can find valuable used items that are still at great conditions. The price of each item was calculated based on weight. I bought a pair of winter gloves, a glass food container, and a cap at less than two dollars. I could see that a lot of people hoarding carts full of items of the same type like shoes, glasswares, books, clothes, etc. perhaps for reselling. You can also find bikes and furnitures, probably with different pricing rule. You might want to have a pair of gloves ready to dig around pile of unorganized and minimally soiled items like shoes. They also sell pair of gloves for two dollars. I can see people are excited to do this because they can find the item they want at insanely cheap price. It is definitely like finding a gem in a pile of dirt kind of feeling. The downside is when you want to find something that comes in pair like gloves and shoes and you can only find one of the pair. They try to mitigate this problem by tying the pair of shoes with rubber band, but missing pair is still often the case. I will definitely come back if I am in need of something in the future."
"I don't go to a standalone Goodwill anymore since I started going to the bins. It can be overwhelming your first trip but once you get into it, it can be a really fun event. In fact, it can get a little addictive. I have found anything from little trinkets to housewares to Cash. It's just a lot of fun to go and spend a couple hours digging through other people stuff to see if there's a little treasure in there for you. I recommend you wear gloves and turn your patience dial up to 10. I have found that the employees running the registers are very nice and friendly. There are always one or two ridiculous people who are throwing everything around crazily so it's best to just avoid that type. The only bad thing is the parking because the building is attached to another warehouse so there aren't that many spaces. But if you are in St. Louis, I highly recommend going to these bins at least once."
"We absolutely love Goodwill Outlet. It's not for everyone! You need to bring gloves and you will be digging through bins of interesting and sometimes questionable items. But, if you love a good bargain hunt, it's a hoot! Make sure to check the hours as they close for restocking mid day. You pay by the pound for your entire cart load. My daughter and I have a lot of fun here!"
"This was my first time at a Goodwill Outlet! There are a lot of bins to look through. They have carts available to use. They offer $2 gloves to purchase to use to go through the bins. They warn you that there might be broken glass in the bins. I went though the bins with bags, clothes and shoes and thankfully didn't come across any broken pieces of glass. I didn't really have time to dig through the bins with appliances. If you have the patience and time you might can find things you might want. They weigh your purchase."
