"We absolutely love Goodwill Outlet. It's not for everyone! You need to bring gloves and you will be digging through bins of interesting and sometimes questionable items. But, if you love a good bargain hunt, it's a hoot! Make sure to check the hours as they close for restocking mid day. You pay by the pound for your entire cart load. My daughter and I have a lot of fun here!"
"This was my first time at a Goodwill Outlet! There are a lot of bins to look through. They have carts available to use. They offer $2 gloves to purchase to use to go through the bins. They warn you that there might be broken glass in the bins. I went though the bins with bags, clothes and shoes and thankfully didn't come across any broken pieces of glass. I didn't really have time to dig through the bins with appliances. If you have the patience and time you might can find things you might want. They weigh your purchase."
"Like your regular Goodwill in a larger size. No. Purchase anything? No. It appears pricing is 1 # of stuff is $1.89, then 19 cents all extra pounds. If you go, be careful you don't cut yourself while looking for something in these gigantic long plastic tubs of junk up front. clothing and shoes in back left and books in back right corner. Wear gloves. Grab a cart. I think other big cities a Goodwill outlet might have better choices. Give yourself lots of time to search and find."
"This place is the place where we can find valuable used items that are still at great conditions. The price of each item was calculated based on weight. I bought a pair of winter gloves, a glass food container, and a cap at less than two dollars. I could see that a lot of people hoarding carts full of items of the same type like shoes, glasswares, books, clothes, etc. perhaps for reselling. You can also find bikes and furnitures, probably with different pricing rule. You might want to have a pair of gloves ready to dig around pile of unorganized and minimally soiled items like shoes. They also sell pair of gloves for two dollars. I can see people are excited to do this because they can find the item they want at insanely cheap price. It is definitely like finding a gem in a pile of dirt kind of feeling. The downside is when you want to find something that comes in pair like gloves and shoes and you can only find one of the pair. They try to mitigate this problem by tying the pair of shoes with rubber band, but missing pair is still often the case. I will definitely come back if I am in need of something in the future."
