Goodwill Donation Express Reviews

"Second worst experience, first time noting it. Last I checked, this was a donation drop off. You don’t get to rummage through the donations and pick and choose the goods you want. You don’t want it, or can’t sell it, sort through it after the drop off. The sign literally says “pop the truck, we’ll take care of the rest” and I can’t express how big of a lie that is. I had a Bunn coffee maker with brand new filters, a brand new juicer, a lamp shade and some wood boards in a tote. The bearded guy unloading me questioned what the boards were for and my reply was, “I don’t know they’re wood boards…..arts and crafts?” He then said he couldn’t take them and so my full truck load of donations will go to some other organization. Messages in store note if you have appliances working or not, donate them and this location wouldn’t take perfectly good wood boards?! Never again donating to such a thoughtless company. If you can’t take perfectly wood boards and make use of them, I don’t trust your judgment in selling my new donated products for a good cause."
"Didn't have to wait, someone was ready to take my donation bags. Friendly and very helpful."
"We donated a large UHAUL truck fill of furniture of items after moving. The staff were so friendly and helpful helping us unload and bring it in. They also made us feel very welcome to Centerton. Highly recommend."
"Used to be great but very unreliable lately in terms of hours and accepting donations."

"I have been to many outlets but this is the closest one to me and by far the best I have been too. I have not been to one thats even half the size of this outlet so it would be interesting to know where the biggest one is located. It is for the best of the best treasure hunters and not for the faint of heart. It's dirty, grimy and a million other things. The Goodwill team has been changing things up...bathrooms are cleaner, more chairs to take a break in, a faster rotation schedule, more employees to handle the crowds. Please don't be upset because things are broken or in a wad because the number of items they are processing in a day is astronomical. They cannot control people breaking items or being aggressive when employees are not watching....there are all kinds of people coming in that store and they do the best they can to keep it drama free - best case - prepare yourself to walk away. They are usually going so fast they go right over things, I promise you there will still be plenty of clothes to pick through. I bring my own cart & chair so that I know I have one, a first aid kit with band-aids, sanitizer, batteries, etc. I have never known them to cheat anyone...as a matter of fact, the employees they put on the cash register generally have the patience of saints....they are always happy to re-weigh it if you feel like something is off...the scales are right where you can see them and the prices are clearly posted. That's not to say somethings are not worth buying because of the weight...a concrete planter is going to be high, bowling balls, etc but there is not one bit of shady going on. If I had a recommendation it would be for heavy items in one bin with special pricing on that too. Might keep a lot of other stuff from being broken but that's all I have, keep up the good work Little Rock!"
"If you've been to the Goodwill bins before, you kind of know what to expect. Pros: - you can find some cool things at times - there is a lot to look at - good pricing Cons: - the bins are filthy; I strongly recommend wearing gloves to go through them. They do have bathrooms so you can wash your hands afterwards though. - it's LOUD. If you have sensory sensitivity, this may not be the best place for you. I go on rare occasions because it can overwhelm me. - People act like it's Black Friday when new bins are rolled out; I try to avoid the new bin sections until everyone has kind of cleared out Like I said, you kinda know what to expect if you've already been. I will say that I've been to other Goodwill outlet stores in other states and their bins are a little more put together, clean, and they offer gloves when you walk in."
"Digging for treasures and watching people!! Bring you some gloves and come rescue something from the landfill. Crafters- omg!! It’s craft heaven. Is it clean? Nope! Is it fun? YEP!! Almost as good as dinner and a movie!! Come get you some!! Book people- BOOKS!!!!!!!"
"I counted 170 bins. Over 20 was just shoes. I was able to get through all the wares before seeing a reset, just 6 bins at a time. Personally found nearly nothing, and released back what I had rather than stand in line. I'm starting to rethink my "more bins = better outlet" assumption."

"Really awesome bin store/thrift store. Huge selection constantly changing. Only bummer is it is all dumped in big dirty bins so you have to dig through them and sort old dirty stuff and good stuff. They also don't provide bags so be prepared to fill a cart and carry out. Clothes are weighed and cost around 1.50 a lb and housewares are about the same. Books are 50 cents and they have furniture and big stuff too. I have found a lot of nice, still tag on clothes here after sorting through along with a lot of good cookbooks and canvas art. Not sure how accurate their big scale is but it is still a good deal for everything you get."
"I very much enjoyed my visit. It was my first time at a goodwill outlet, definitely won't be my last. Next time I will make sure I have more time though it is a really big place with lots of bins to dig in!"
"Goodwill donations “next to last stop” full of bargains if you are patient and willing to dig. We enjoyed it and scored a few things. Everything except some large items are in shallow bins that get rotated fairly frequently. Lots of clothes, shoes and books on the day we were there."
"I was glad to see that they've reopened since they were damaged in the tornado. (I live out of state). It was clean. But it seemed they didn't change out the bins frequently. Another thing I'd love across all the outlets is if the tables were 6" taller and not so deep. That lean is a killer!"
