"May 2024 update This is regarding hardgoods only. The quality if hards goods and likelihood of finding a good quality item for personal use or reselling is pretty much non-existent. I believe what's happening is someone is picking out anything remotely of good or even average value out of the bulk bins in the back. They are likely selling the bulk bins separately to second hand stores or resellers. This means the contents of the blue bins on the floor is literally junk. I noticed before that you'd observe items in the bins with the goodwill retail sticker still attached. Not anymore.l thus junk likely was never in a retail store. The items in the blue bin look like the items the retail store rejected or were left at the retail store after hours. Very dirty and gross besides having very little value. A plus is they started pulling some things out and putting them on shelves which backs up my thought that someone is going through the items before they come to the floor. Shelf items are a 3 of 10, if you're lucky. Blue bin or cart items are a 1 of 10. Sad because other bins are better. I can actually luck up on nice things pretty easily. This one was like that but now it's last on my list for gw outlet shopping. Why waste the time and gas? The staff is very nice, but they are mum on why the quality if items has decreased. I guess they've been told to not address the question. Jan 19 2024 update: I'm a hard goods shopper so I can only say, be prepared to dig if you're looking for clothes. I hope they clamp down on people putting the clothes on the floor. The no longer bring the items out in very large industrial style brown cartons. Everything comes out in the big blue flat trays. I think this better in some respects because the number of broken items due to throwing items from the brown boxes to the blue trays is no longer happening and the items all over the the floor, which was a safety hazard is almost eliminated. It does seem like less merchandise is on the floor for sale at any one time though. Other GW outlets place breakables separate on shelves as well as large items either in their own blue tray or separate on the floor somewhere. This location should consider this. I'd like to see them strongly urge store customers to not let their kids run free playing with sharp objects and toys in the store. The place is chaotic as it is, adding unsupervised children just makes another uncotrolled, controllable risk. Monitor the parking lot and remind people adults or children the parking lot is not a playground to play catch in front of the store. Relatively clean. Staff relatively nice. This is am outlet where buyers search though donations in a random fashion. Purchases are made by the pound, not each item. Great way to save money. Wear gloves and maybe a mask because anything including liquids, knives, scissors, chemicals, broken glass, etc could be in the large bins and boxes. Soft goods are separated from hard goods for the most part. I'd like to see more presorting and better care of how the items are moved from warehouse to sales floor. There is a larger amount of breakage at this location compared to other goodwill outlet stores I've visited."
"I know the prices per pound for the clothes is higher at this location but I really like it here. Yes, they pile the clothes up a lot here and it tends to get messy but, the workers were continually cleaning and picking up what fell. All the workers were nice, and the bathroom wasn't bad. The bins were constantly being rotated and I like how they make everyone wait untill all the bins are replaced before letting anyone dig. I went on a weekday so maybe it was less crazy but good experience and would go again!"
"Clothes items are $4 lb, books and vhs movie .25 cents and some sheets I purchased at $1 each. They price everything a bit different. IMO clothes should be cheaper so they can actually move through the huge piles each bin has. I’ve visited many outlet stores and most don’t have this much clothes so even searching for clothes is a job here with the amount of clothes on each bin."
