"I went to check this place out, and I am very disappointed, a little sad, and left there feeling like I was scammed. Here are my reasons for giving only 1 star….. #1. It was so chaotic, crowded, and loud. The workers talk loud and harsh, like in a jail. #2. They just throw everything in the bins like it’s garbage and then some customers throw things around, breaking many items and taking others out of boxes and just throwing it back without the other pieces that go with the item. Its awful. This is causing MORE trash to be taken to the landfill! So many good items get destroyed before they’re even seen. #3. I left there feeling scammed. They don’t let you see what the scale says and I highly disagree with the weight they told me. It was too high. I also feel like they are only partially deducting for the shopping basket. #4. I don’t feel like it was a bargain at all. I find better deals in the their thrift store and without all the shouting, weighing, and watching good items get broken. This outlet concept is, to me, causing more harm than good to the environment. Why waste all that time, putting the stuff out there just to be broken and become trash? Just send it straight to the landfill and save time and resources. It was truly saddening to see all that go to waste. 😡😢 So, overall, it was a negative experience and I left there feeling like it wasn’t a bargain at all. 😢 Note: The manager was very nice and helped me complete my transaction successfully.😊 Last but not least…..Goodwill, please bring the auction back. 🙏🙏🙏 It was so much more organized and better deals, and less things were broken during the selling process. UPDATE: This is my response to Goodwill’s response to my review….Thanks for your reply to my review. Here’s my reply… About calibrating the scales for weight, you should still let the customer SEE the weight total upon purchase to eliminate doubt. When you weigh vegetables in the supermarket, you are able to see how much you’re buying. Transparency fosters trust and I feel that, as customers, we deserve to know exactly what we are paying for and feel confident that we got exactly what we paid for. Now, about ending the auction and the amount that is sent to the landfill….when I bought from the auction, I would take home a trailer and SUV full for 100.00. At the outlet, I got enough to fit into my backseat for the same amount. I was completely shocked at the difference. So, it’s not possible that this outlet is reducing the amount of waste that goes to the landfill. In my opinion, Goodwill changed to the outlet/bin concept because it is more profitable. The prices on some items in your thrift stores are already as high as new items at retail stores, which is so inappropriate considering that all these things were donated and not purchased, so you have NO overhead invested. Yet, you still found a way to charge more for less by eliminating the auction and transitioning to the outlet store. Not good, guys. Not good at all. Also, it makes me wonder where all that stuff is going now because the amount of items in the outlet store is NOWHERE NEAR what was sold at the auction. Who knows really. All I know is it doesn’t feel like good will is the priority of this business any more."

"The wife and I visited the Tulsa Goodwill outlet bin store on tuesday and had a 100 percent positive experence. We both agree the the Tulsa bins are the model that all bin stores should adopt. We frequent bin stores as one of our many thrifting sources and love the thrill of the hunt. The staff at the tulsa bin store was very friendly and made sure the everyone had a safe shoping experence. The store manager was super and came ouf and talked to the shopers"

"I was excited to visit a bin store! What a disappointment! The trash in these bins can stay. Foul smells, damaged beyond repair... it's landfill bound."

"Went in today with my family (5 adults 2 kids) each had our own carts but kept all our items/buggies together by each other over towards the corner out of everyones way (should be understandable) found a few toys for my kids and they sat quietly by the buggies playing with those toys while we (adults) took turns looking through the bins. Had a employee come up and tell me that I needed to wrap it up get my kids and leave that she has had two customers complain. Not sure why someone is going to complain about my kids sitting and playing nicely while there was other kids running around and taking empty carts and jousting with them, not even kidding, but whatever. After the first supposed complaint there should've at least been some sort of hey I have had a complaint can we do something about this but instead just rudeness. So I went and checked out and said okay so I guess I will take this stuff to my car and just come back in and put my kids in the buggy. An this lady laughs in my face saying oh yeah bc they are going to be so good in a buggy. Like really? Then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't come back into the store with my kids that kids couldn't be there. No where is there a sign saying no kids. Anyways I checkout and then come back in and have my kids in the cart and they did so good especially for being 3 and 4, no crying, no screaming just simply playing with toys. Meanwhile my family members still have their carts and are looking through the bins getting items and taking back to their buggies as thats where they prefer people keep their carts over by the walls. An this same lady comes up yelling and trying to take my aunts cart in which my aunt wasn't being hateful or rude to this employee but yet here she is yelling in her face telling her she needs to check out then moves on to yell in my grandma's face about the same thing. Mind you my aunt and grandma each only had one buggy and was still shopping. Then wants to proceed to come and ask my other family member who is disabled that is sitting in a chair with a $1 tag on it if he is going to be buying that chair in which he said that we were going to be buying it when we are done shopping. After awhile this same employee comes up and starts yelling at him "I told you 3 hours ago to either buy the chair or get out of it that you cant sit in it" well if we are buying it then yes we can sit in it until done shopping and ready to check out. So by this point I am beyond fuming and just take the tag off the chair and take it and the money up to the register so she would shut up and tell her here you go now leave us alone. Very unprofessional and she needs fired"
