Of course some days are better than others, but that is dependent upon what arrives on the truck delivery. I found a few reviews that complained about not being able to open items over the bins. That is ridiculous! There is plenty of space available to open items away from the bins where people are browsing. Opening over the bins just keeps others from being able to access the items. I always find great deals and they even allow you to go to the front tables to open and check inside the packages to see what they contain, if all the parts are there, and to verify the items function. Every week they add new stuff on Friday, again on Saturday morning, and once more on Saturday afternoon. The owners are wonderful people. The establishment is always clean. The deals change daily starting at $8 Friday and ending at $1 Tuesday."

"Update... 4 months after my original rating... poor customer service. Not a single employer said ANYTHING to me in the hour I was browsing. It is a complete mess and overpriced for a "bargain" store. One female employee doing inventory in the toys remained on a Bluetooth device talking on a personal call the entire time I was browsing and even commented to the person on the other end of the call that it "wasn't even peak hours yet and there's already a customer". "Was a bit disappointed. I used to love this store. I would go twice a week. The shift from the ticket discount for how long it was there to a flat rate took a lot of the fun out of it. Today the store itself was full of overflowing shelves and choas. I understand this can happen occasionally, but it looked like status quo. I did buy a few pillows, but at the same price as I could online, so I was just not having to wait on shipping."

For those who don't know, Bargain Hunt used to operate on a date system similar to a consignment store, the longer an item sat, the greater the discount became. You could easily find items at 50, 70 even 90 percent off. Though I've watched their prices creep up over the years, this is the last straw. All items are overpriced what you would pay for them new, with a few yellow "discount stickers" of 25% off at the most..."

But I picked up something off a shelf that had 5 candy containers in it sealed up there was several of them on the shelf like that when I brought it up to the register I was told that they were sold individually. If that is the case why are they displayed as a unit? Also picked up And infant Closing set their price on it was $9 but the actual price from the manufacturer with $7 50. No one could explain how it was possible and refused to sell it at manufacturers price."
