Bin Stores in Chattanooga, Tennessee

"We're here all the time. We keep an eye out on their facebook page, and if there is something we would like, we make sure we're one of the first in line! Last week, I scored an electric kettle ($55 on Amazon) and an external monitor for my laptop (about $115 at BestBuy) for $7 each! The store is clean, and well maintained, and even tho people are "driven to the deals" they don't shove, push, or batter-ram their way to the bins. "Great experience every time I've come here, lots of nice finds, staff super friendly, store is well kept together and makes for a great experience, while I do find gems in the bin I'm usually one of the later in the week shoppers and find most of my goodies on the priced items on the wall. Easily spend hours here looking at new inventory since I do live on the other side of town it feels like the whole store is new to me when I come back on my free time, worth it to me imo."

"This store is the store for literally hunting down great prices. Now depending on what day you go in will affect the price of the items in the bin. It is definitely a risk vs reward style of shopping. You can go in on Saturday when the new stuff shows up or you can wait until Tuesday and try to get those treasures for a much cheaper price. Regardless of what day you go the store has an energy and excitement that you cannot get at any other retail store."

If you're confused walking in, the owners and staff are always happy to answer questions about how the pricing works. "Fun place we found while doing an end of year lego hunt. We didn't find any, but it was fun to look around. I'm sure anyone could find something they didn't know they needed if they weren't looking for anything specific. There are several small bins in the back to sort through, otherwise everything is well organized as stated in other reviews. I don't usually expect a whole lot out of these types of places; however, the carpet is tattered throughout the store, which could be a tripping hazard. The restroom cabinets were busted up as well. "I like the place as far as shopping but the lady that works later in the day is rude and disrespectful. She seen I had a cigarette pack in my hand as I was standing in line so she proceeded to run her mouth screaming it SMELLS LIKE SMOKE to the customer in front of me and asked the customer if she smelled it and when the customer said no she didn't stop there she continued to make faces and make comments like i can't stand that smell. "Check dates and know your prices and you can find some pretty good deals. It was nicely organized by departments which was nice. An associate went out of her way to open a register to help get the line down and then took time to take me to an area to show me where some things I was looking for were located. Friendly staff"

"I drove 1.5 hours away (this was the closest Goodwill bins to me). I read all the bad reviews and decided to give it a chance myself, and I can say it was my first and last time going to this outlet. "Loved going here. Others customers were a bit pushy, but the staff was so polite. Yes, there was some things in the bins that needed to be tossed out, but the hunt is what’s exciting to me. Never left there unhappy! I’m devastated they are currently closed. I read comments about no children being allowed and I must admit- I’ve been here MANY times, and women come in there, leaving their kids in the carts or to run around, and they don’t pay attention to their children. "This Goodwill is a treasure hunt on steroids. If you love digging through bins to find that unicorn, you will love this outlet. The outlet store is where the things that did not sell at Goodwill stores come to be sold at significant discounts. Clothes are sold by the pound. I was surprised to see quite a few name brands, along with some really nice household items like mirrors and lamps. Definitely an adventure worth taking but make sure you have time for digging!"
