"This store used to be really awesome. I was so grateful to come here and get nice things for a great price. Then the management changed and the products became less desirable. They rarely have Amazon products now. They now provide fewer days to open and test products and close testing earlier each day. The bins are completely full of trash by Wednesdays and Thursdays. I used to get amazing stuff on Wednesdays. They also changed the book policy from 10 books for the day’s price to one book for the price of the day. Rules: overtime they keep changing..."

"The store owner apparently doesn’t want much profit because they will not allow you in their store with a purse. Even a small purse. My husband and I spend ridiculous amounts of money on dumb things and this store was right up our alley however I’m not going to be automatically accused of theft because I have a purse. Not good business strategy if you ask me. Maybe the owner should read these reviews and take the L on the few items that MIGHT get taken or possibly hire people to secure the products. Either way I’m never going to..."

"Went my second time today with a friend to have fun kids free. Grabbed a cart and started looking through the stuff, opening boxes with no description and ALWAYS returning them as the were to original packaging. About 4 rows in a female employee loudly and rudely verbally attacked me telling me to leave now!! She rudely yelled about not opening the boxes. I replied how am I supposed to know what’s inside? She continued her nasty loud behavior about the signage that they have in dark corners and low places. I never read the signs I got my cart..."

"I am upset because I came to shop and last time I came in with my stroller but today I was told I could not . They have a sign posted out front I guess now but no signs inside stating no strollers are allowed so it’s easily missed , also noticed now you are not allowed to take your purse inside anymore either . I’m upset because I’m a regular customer and they said after my complaint that I could’ve just detached my car seat from the stroller attachment if I wanted to shop there but that’s not what..."

What to Expect at a Bin Store in Dublin

Bin stores in Dublin work differently from regular thrift stores. Instead of neatly shelved items, merchandise arrives in large open bins directly from Amazon return pallets and liquidation lots. Here's what first-timers should know:

  • Bring reusable bags — most bin stores don't provide shopping bags.
  • Arrive early on restock day (Friday) for the best selection.
  • Check electronics at the testing station (if available) before you buy.
  • Prices drop each day — the longer you wait, the lower the price.
  • Cash is preferred at some smaller locations, though most accept cards.
