"The lady at the store walked up, got in my 4 year old daughter’s face, yelled at her over sitting in a seat & said, “Get the hell up and don’t sit in it again, it’s not for kids to play on” Mind you, she wasn’t playing on it, she was sitting down taking a break. We were already there for over an hour at this time so her wanting to sit down was completely understandable. She embarrassed her in front of a lot of people, made her cry & when I confronted her after witnessing the way she yelled..."

"Won’t be doing that again. There are good deals but it brings out rude people. So I don’t feel the deal is worth it if you have to set your anxiety off and over all mood. Even the staff was rude to me and I witness them light into a foreigner... The girl at checkout was nice, and apologized. You pick through a bunch of trash as well. It’s equivalent to going through the nasty good will bins. They set out items for other days while you’re there for a specific $$ day. And then don’t have signs posted… and..."

"Not gonna lie I was feeling pretty good about this place at first but that went out the door quickly. I went in on a Thursday and Friday back to back. Thursday with a friend who saw something on the wall they wanted, but ultimately decided they may come back later for it, and Friday alone. Friday as I’m checking out the lady at the front (who was actually quite nice) told me to come back the next day as all wall items were going to be run at 25% off. I let my friend know and they go in..."

"We went on Saturday when bin items were marked as $8. This means something as little as a single pair of of socks would cost $8. But I found some things worth more than that. Mostly unopened items and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. You kind of have to debate on the price and what things are worth. Thursdays are $1 so gonna try to go on one of those days! If you are expecting something like the Goodwill Bins, this isn’t really the same. The tote bags lended are nice but shopping carts would be great! I left with..."

What to Expect at a Bin Store in Morgantown

  • Bring reusable bags — most bin stores don't provide shopping bags.
  • Arrive early on restock day (Friday) for the best selection.
  • Check electronics at the testing station (if available) before you buy.
  • Prices drop each day — the longer you wait, the lower the price.
  • Cash is preferred at some smaller locations, though most accept cards.
