"So far I've only been here three times once on the $2 day and twice on the $1 day ,unfortunately on my first attempt to go on the $1 day they decided to close very early. I travel there specifically to shop at that store. On the $2 day I actually found quite a few really good deals. On the $1 day that I got into the store to shop there was just basically garbage. I did buy two items that I didn't need but I decided to make my trip worthwhile by buying something. This place is really interesting..."

"A Chaotic Shopping Experience that I will quickly Forget! The concept..fill a store with surplus returned and or damaged merchandise from Amazon, target, Walmart and almost all other online sellers. Take the merchandise and throw it bins. Now, depending on what you want to pay, you must come in on a day that offers price points between 1 to 10 dollars. Now, you must be able to get into the store to find the bargains for the price. BAD IDEA!!! By the time the hourdes of customer are through attacking each bin, the merchandise has been damaged or scattered around..."

"I recently visited "Daily deals liquidation" and unfortunately, my experience was marred by the open racism of the greeter towards me as an African American female. This behavior was completely unacceptable and left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. It's disappointing to encounter such blatant discrimination in this day and age, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this business to anyone. I urge the management to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that all customers are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race or ethnicity. If you are a person of color looking to shop..."

"Good products that are shown in the video gets taken from the store before the store opens by other people who are allowed to enter the store before the store opens for everyone. This happened multiple times and when I spoke to the employees in the store, they said that the owners of the store knew about it and they give those individuals permission to buy what they want first then they allow the customers to enter the store. if they are planning to do favors toward certain customers, they should not advertise the products that they are going to..."

What to Expect at a Bin Store in Jersey City

Bin stores in Jersey City work differently from regular thrift stores. Instead of neatly shelved items, merchandise arrives in large open bins directly from Amazon return pallets and liquidation lots. Here's what first-timers should know:

  • Bring reusable bags — most bin stores don't provide shopping bags.
  • Arrive early on restock day (Friday) for the best selection.
  • Check electronics at the testing station (if available) before you buy.
  • Prices drop each day — the longer you wait, the lower the price.
  • Cash is preferred at some smaller locations, though most accept cards.
