Items typically start at higher prices ($35) on restock days and drop daily until reaching as low as $1 by the end of the week.
From electronics and home goods to clothing, toys, furniture, and household essentials, Alberta's 7 bin stores offer treasure-hunt shopping experiences where you can save 50-90% off retail prices. Most stores follow a weekly pricing model, restock on specific days (usually Saturday), and maintain active Facebook pages with updates.

"Customers please do your research on Amazon or other websites before purchasing! Most of their products are over priced for items that are a return and missing parts you shouldn’t be paying more then what the original price is for a brand new one. I was in there this morning and got quoted for an item for $40 and the item on Amazon was less than 40 $! Be aware I just don’t want people being scammed when we are living in an economy where the cost of living is so high and places like this was supposed to be..."
"Its a place where you can find small stuff at a cheap price specifically ladies' second-hand clothes."
"100% accommodating staff, very affordable price."

"This was my first time going there, I just saw a board and decided to go randomly one day. I think that was Saturday and $17 per item that day. I found a blood pressure and ecg machine, my kiddo got a photo printing camera and I got a play mat . I was so happy to find these good deals. But you need to hunt in the bins. There is one or two other bins where you can buy things on marked prices, they do have clothings but I didn’t have a chance to look into that section. Overall..."
"Great deals.. great place. Owner is friendly and personable. Can be crowded on some days so best to go early. Best to do your research so you know what is a good deal and what is not. Definitely is hit and miss on what you find depending on the day but thats the fun of it. My only other recommendation is if you pay cash to double check the math as the staff barley speak any English and more than once we were given incorrect change and should have been given more money back..im sure its hard to find staff..."
"It’s a HUGE joke! HONESTLY ITS JUNK dirty stuff, broken missing parts and you can’t return anything. They put the good stuff up at the front with higher pricing because it’s sealed and price it differently than putting it in the bins for people to buy. What’s the point in going if they only have junk in the bins. And charge such ridiculous prices for the sealed stuff that is placed on racks not in bins. Hmmmm! Also, be aware as a very good deal shopper even the prices from sealed damaged boxes are too expensive as well. Found stuff..."
"If you are looking for gift ideas for the coming holidays, this is the best place for it! Great finds for super low prices, it’s unbelievable! I bought my neck massager here as well as other household items at a very low price and the quality is the best. Their staff are very friendly and welcoming. I love this store❤️❤️❤️"

"I absolutely love treasure hunt. I have found so many wonderful items at huge discount rates. I try to go a few times a week to see what deals I will find. It has been amazing for me to find items for different animal rescues, as well as things for myself, family and friends. The staff keep the place very clean and appreciate that they ensure people are not opening boxes over bins and making a huge mess so parts do not go missing like so many similar bin stores. I wish more stores would take a stand and stop..."
"I love this store! You never know what to expect and what the item you can get! Great friendly service! I don’t know what those comments about - “rude staff”, maybe they’re rude to you because they’re keep saying 10 times in hour that you can’t open boxes not in the specific area, and people still don’t understand that. They’re trying to prevent that because it’s frustrating when you’re getting a product and there’s not all items that supposed to be. Even today I found a great lock, but there were no keys because somebody opened the box. You can..."
"Treasure Hunt Calgary is one of those places you just pop into and always end up finding something. Prices are solid, lots of random cool stuff, and the inventory changes all the time. Sometimes it’s snacks, sometimes tools, sometimes house stuff. You never really know. Staff is helpful and awesome! also the store is easy to walk through. Good spot if you like deals and don’t mind browsing a bit. would definitely recommend stopping in to check it out!"
"This store is good to shop a very cheap stuff. They are also kind and helpful. I forgot the key of my car as my car was running when I drove my car going to shop. I found out that the key of my car was not with me when going to lock. The owner was kind to drive me home to get the key at the house with no cost. I am very grateful to their help."

"there will be mostly garbage by sunday. given prime day on friday. compare to other binz, cant find anything valuable as customer who dont want to line up on prime day. their inventory is not as good compare to krazy binz and treasure hunt liquidation and fire binz which closed for now and restocking structure seems off. price is $1 higher on given day compare to all other binz. at lunch or afternoon hour only have garbage left. likely no restocking throughout the day. even item that seem to work, as a person who own them, i know they are..."
"The staff are great, very friendly, they are a lot of the same people that left fire dealz before it fell a part. My only complaint would be that they cherry pick too much of the stock and move it to liquidation, it defeats the fun of looking through the bin to find a steal. The liquidation side of the business completely ruins the bin side of things. I have gone a few times and everything I find is not the price of the day, it's a different separate price that was poorly marked on the bin I pulled it..."
"This place is a hit and miss. You got to actually look. Some days you find stuff. Some days you won't but you actually have to look through everything. My first time going to this place. I found a $60 item on Amazon that I wanted for 25 bucks there. Again, I was digging through and looking through everything so it's a hit and miss. Sometimes you find stuff and sometimes you won't but you got to actually look."
"Don’t waste time in this place! To me it’s a scam or they are simply greedy! They do not honor daily prices they advertise. Is completely misleading. They are not 100% transparent as they said about their prices.l was there Sunday Nov16.Daily advertised price was $7.99 for all items in the store.I found Columbia jacket with according to their advertisement supposed to cost $7.99 but at the till lady who barely spoke English pointed finger on tag showed me a price $109 and change saying at the same time „no price $7.99”.Besides that store was completely mess and disorganized. Bad experience ever!"

"visited this place many times.they raised price over past several month. prime day used to be $15 now $20 l, tuesday is now $5 while used to be $3 with same left over from previous $5 Monday. not adding things of better of value. hard to spot item extremely discounted. mostly below price of the day or not remotely worth $20/$10. cloth used to be $7 now $10 same quality some have stain so would be sold at $2 if you go to factory thrift of some brand. $25 shoe even sandals (you can get sneaker at costco on clearance..."
"The idea is fun — Amazon returns, great deals, mystery items… until you realize you’re shopping in what feels like a garage sale hosted by raccoons. They ask people not to open packages, but no one listens — and staff don’t enforce anything. People rip open boxes like they’re digging for gold, leaving pieces missing, items damaged, and good finds ruined. My wife saw something she liked, but it had already been opened, messed with, and half the pieces were gone. Why even bother putting a sign up if you won’t enforce it? Might as well write “Feel free to..."
"Absolutely devasted with the removal of the clothing racks sections. Some of the staff are quite rude but there is one older lady who is an absolute treasure. Customers who visit here are absolutely wild, and not in a good way. Frequently packed and customers do not read the signs that say not to open packages and make a mess. You basically have to spend atleast an hour here if you find something of a set, as everyone throws things around that you cant find things of a set without going on an exhausting and frustrating hunt, but i guess..."
"They take the good items out from the bins and price them differently. As seen in the picture, I bought these on the 5 dollar day and today, the dollar day they took them out of the bins and upped the price. I had a bunch again but when I went to pay, the guy at the counter said that they are 10 dollars. Scummy for sure. Just read the sign on the bin, not even the product in the bin. Did I mention scummy. When I asked the staff about it I was told to bad? Lol, last time..."

"You can occasionally find decent items here, but the pricing system feels inconsistent and unfair. Every item, regardless of its size or actual value, is priced according to the flat "value of the day." For example, my wife and I visited on a $25 day—she picked up a small candle, and I found a basic Wi-Fi camera. At checkout, we were told the total would be $55 for both items, which felt unreasonable given their individual worth."
"The owners are very kind and patient. They deal with all sorts of customers and are always so nice! Amazing deals and great customer service. Yes, you have to dig to find deals but it is so worth it in my opinion. I've gotten hundred dollar items for $5. As a shopaholic, I love it and don't mind searching ❤️"
"Do not come here on Saturdays or at all for that matter. $25 for every single item is way too greedy, even for 2 tiny crochet octopuses it was $25, had to put everything back and walked out. The place is covered in filth and there's a cracked window they haven't fixed in roughly 2 weeks now, there's spoiled/expired food and the smell in there is awful, it smells like weed and everything is full of dust. I don't even have allergies and everytime I touch something my hands get red and itchy. Everything is either in a box or..."
"I might give it three stars if the actual business management was better. Guy tried to charge me 159 bucks for like 3 items that weren't complete. Some cool things there but they weren't worth the price. I might check out some things on a Friday where the items are only a dollar. Some useful things lots of random garbage strewn around in the bins. Store smelled of old mustiness. I bought a gas hose and a yeti cup that I probably overpaid for but I'll try again on a Friday when things are cheaper."

"I am absolutely enchanted by Big Binz, the super addictive store that always surprises me with solutions to problems I never even knew I had. Every visit to this treasure trove is an adventure filled with incredible bargains and unique finds that never fail to delight. The store's irresistible charm often tempts me to linger longer than planned, so I've learned to bring a friend along to rescue me after 15 minutes. Without this intervention, I might just get lost in the aisles of Big Binz forever! Big Binz has a magical quality that makes me feel like I could..."
"I usually enjoy shopping at Big Binz, but my experience yesterday was really disappointing. I went with my aunt she picked out two items, and I picked three. At checkout, the cashier told us we could only buy three items total because we were from the same family or group. When we pointed out that the posted rule says each shopper can select three items and then return, they told us it was a “new rule”. But there was no sign or update stating that anywhere in the store. Meanwhile, another shopper shared their experience from the 3 PM restock...."
"I was there yesterday for the restock at 3pm I was disappointed coz one of the worker there yesterday seems to know or related to some ladies just went in,she started talking to them to they're language and started to hand all the good stuffs to them . They have more than 3 items they have boxes and boxes. I thought u pay 3 items first before u can come back. that's so unfair for other buyer if ur employee does this. Just so disappointed"
"Not a whole lot here on Fridays but the organization there was amazing. Very impressive. Didn't have to dig through anything to see products."
